County Administrator

 

The Administration Office is responsible for assisting the Board of Commissioners in its legislative role and for the general administration of the county.

The County Administrator is appointed by the Board of Commissioners and serves as the Chief Administrative Officer. General responsibilities include implementing county policies; serving as liaison to county departments and other units of local government; and oversight of various county departments.

The office staff assists the Board of Commissioners by preparing agendas; writing procedures to accompany board policies; conducting program, departmental and management analysis; and providing general administrative support.
