Administrative Assistant/Bailiff – 8th Judicial Circuit Court

Part-Time

Pay Grade: $15.24 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma, supplemented by one or more years of clerical experience in a law firm or law related work. Applicants with paralegal experience, certificate or degree preferred. Computer experience and ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, professional environment with diverse tasks required.

General Summary:
Responsible for court bailiff duties, as well as coordinating the alternative dispute resolution services of the 8th Judicial Circuit, encompassing Ionia and Montcalm Counties, as to mediation and case evaluation. This position also provides an important general assistance role to the Circuit Court Administrator and Court Recorders and helps to ensure the efficient operation of the administrative office of the 8th Judicial Circuit Court. Travel may be required
