Emergency Services Dispatcher

Full-Time (Pending Board of Commissioners Approval)

Pay Grade: Starting wage: $14.05/hr to $17.17/hr depending upon qualifications and experience.

Top Pay $20.76hr. after six years.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicant must be 18 years of age. A high diploma or GED required.

General Summary:
Ionia County Central Dispatch is a 24/7 Emergency 911 dispatch operation. The position is an entry level emergency services dispatcher,
but consideration will be given for prior 911 emergency dispatch experience. This position handles all Ionia County emergency 911 and non-emergency calls for service; and dispatches all police, fire, medical first responder and ambulance services located within Ionia County. This position involves working nights, weekends and holidays.
