Full Time | Commission on Aging
$13.88 – $15.57/hour (after 6 month probationary period) + full County benefit package, depending on experience
Previous kitchen/cooking experience + current food safety training certification, or ability to become certified, required. High school diploma or GED. A valid Michigan driver’s license is required.
Assign and direct kitchen staff, coordinate work tasks and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures in the preparation of meals for COA sites and homebound clients. Cooking, inventory, placing orders, receiving, cleaning, record keeping, phones and more are all essential tasks for this position. Flexibility to travel to meal sites, and assist with additional tasks as needed, is ideal.
