TITLE: Deputy Clerk – Full Time Position

The Ionia County Clerk’s Office is looking for a friendly, efficient and organized Deputy Clerk to be the “face” of the Clerk’s Office. The Deputy Clerk must be able to perform a variety of complex clerical tasks including the intake, review, filing and preparation of an assortment of documents. Must have outstanding customer service skills, excellent telephone etiquette, strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Those with a hospitality or sales background are encouraged to apply. This position is for 37.5 hours per week.

High School diploma or GED and 3-5 years of experience in an office setting is required.

Pay range Grade 7: $19.03 – $23.26 per hour, depending on education and experience.
