$14.16 – $15.88/hour (after 6 month probationary period, depending on experience)
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. A valid Michigan driver’s license and own reliable transportation is required. Mileage is reimbursed.
General Summary
Must have the demonstrated ability by previous experience to work and communicate effectively with seniors, clients and with colleagues. Caseworker or Social Worker experience is helpful, but not a requirement. Must be flexible, enjoy people, have proficient computer skills and be able to meet deadlines.
COA Caseworkers travel throughout Ionia County for in home client visits & assessments, write and collaborate on care plans, assist clients with referrals to other agencies, provide ongoing case monitoring and document client needs and delivery of service in agency database.
Opportunity to contribute on special projects. Experience facilitating group discussions, with Medicare/Medicaid counseling or with other supportive services is a big plus.
