County of Ionia 2019 Budget Hearing
The Ionia County Board of Commissioners will hold a Budget Hearing on the proposed 2019 Budget at 3:00 p.m., October 9, 2018, at Central Dispatch, Conference room, 545 Apple Tree Drive Ionia, Michigan. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing. All citizens are invited to attend and provide the Commissioners with written and oral comments and ask questions concerning the County’s entire budget. The proposed budget can be viewed below and is also available for viewing by the public from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the County Administration Office, 3rd Floor, Courthouse. ADA accommodations will be provided upon request.

Regular public meetings of the Board of Commissioners are scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in the Board of Commissioners’ Meeting Room on the third floor of the Courthouse, and 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the conference room at Ionia County Central Dispatch, 545 Apple Tree Drive, Ionia. Committee-of-the-Whole meetings are conducted on the third Tuesday of each month at 3:00 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners’ Meeting Room.
The County of Ionia will provide necessary reasonable auxillary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed matierials being considered at meetings/hearings, to individuals with disabilities attending the meetings/hearings upon 14 days notices to the County of Ionia. Inquiries may be made by calling the Commissioners’ Office at 616-527-5300. Minutes of the public body are stored at the Ionia County Clerks’ Office.
