Vaccination is one of the best ways parents can protect infants, children, and teens from 16 potentially harmful diseases. Vaccine-preventable diseases can be very serious, may require hospitalization, or even be deadly – especially in infants and young children. STD Testing

The Ionia County Health Department STI Clinic offers rapid HIV and syphilis testing and multi-site testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. There is no physical examination needed. Testing and treatment are FREE. We offer:

  • FREE HIV and syphilis rapid testing
  • Multi-site chlamydia and gonorrhea testing
  • Take home kits to swab yourself when it is convenient for you.
  • Treatment
  • STI education on transmission and prevention
  • HIV test counseling is provided with your appointment
  • Free condoms are also available.

Appointments are preferred and will be seen as priority, but walk-ins are available. Please call 616-527-5341 and ask to schedule an appointment with a Nurse.
