STD Testing

The Ionia County Health Department STI Clinic offers rapid HIV testing and urogenital testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea by urine sample There is no physical examination, and testing and treatment (for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea) can be offered to most clients at no cost. STI education on transmission, prevention, and HIV test counseling is provided with your appointment. Free condoms are also available. Appointments are preferred and will be seen as priority, but walk ins are available. *Of note oral and rectal testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea are not currently offered and if these are sites of possible exposure to infection additional testing will need to be done elsewhere to completely rule out infection. Please call 616-527-5341 and ask to schedule an appointment with a Nurse.
