Our Public Health Emergency Preparedness is dedicated to protecting the health of Ionia citizens during public health emergencies, including those caused by biological, chemical, and radiological agents. We focus on minimizing the health threats from infectious diseases, terrorist acts, and other public health emergencies and we actively collaborate with local, regional, state, and federal agencies to prepare for and respond to incidents that threaten public health. We are also committed to providing accurate and practical information about public health emergencies to the citizens of Ionia County. Just a few extra preparedness efforts could help protect your family in a public health emergency, including those caused by acts of terrorism.
