IN RESPONSE TO THE CONCERNS OF THE CORONAVIRUS, THE COUNTY OF IONIA IS TAKING PROACTIVE MEASURES TO PROTECT OUR RESIDENTS AND EMPLOYEES.

All Ionia County buildings and non-essential departments services will be closed through April 13, 2020.
Normal operations and office hours will resume on April 14, 2020 at 8:00 A.M.

Home Delivered Meals are available to eligible homebound, older adults. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday in time for a hot noon meal. Those who wish may request a cold night meal, breakfast meal, and frozen weekend meals. These meals are a general, no salt added diet. The determination for Home Delivered Meals is made by a caseworker who makes a needs assessment together with the client. Check out our most recent newsletter for a look at the monthly menu.

Eligibility

Ionia County residents age sixty and over who are homebound (unable to leave their home on a regular basis without assistance) or need additional support.

Cost

A suggested donation of $3.00 per meal is requested to help cover costs.
