Safe Drivers/Smart Options “Lunch and Learn” Series

Driving means independence for drivers who are over 60. Even though older drivers have been around the block, there are important and essential tips on safe driving as we age. Safe Drivers Smart Options, Keys to Lifelong Mobility is a safe mobility presentation developed by the State of Michigan for aging drivers. As we age, we experience changes that can impact the way we drive. But you don’t have to compromise your independence or mobility, there are smart options for safe drivers.

Lunch and Learn series topics include:

How to stay active and safe behind the wheel.

Decide when it may be time to transition to non-driving.

Find alternative transportation options.

Lunch is served at 11:30am followed by the presentation at 12:30. RSVP for meal by NOON on the prior Tuesday directly at your congregate meal site or call ICCOA (616) 527-5365. Suggested meal donation is $3.00. This even is for seniors 60+ and their caregiver.
