Corrections Officer Hiring Process
In order to be considered for any open corrections officer position, applicants must successfully complete the Corrections Officer examination through Empco, Inc. To register for an examination or for more information on Corrections Officer requirements, test dates, test locations and testing fee, applicants must visit the Empco, Inc. website.
MSCTC Written Test
Inquiries regarding the MSCTC Written exam should be directed to EMPCO, who administers the test for MSCTC. EMPCO can be contacted directly at 248-528-8060 or you can visit their web site.
Visit the Michigan Sheriffs’ Coordinating and Training Council website for minimum standards for corrections officers and other important information for potential corrections officer candidates.
