Volunteers
In addition to our staff, numerous volunteers assist with the work of the COA and are an integral part of service delivery.
COA invites you to join our team and help make a difference in our community. In addition to a welcoming atmosphere and rewarding experience, studies show volunteering can provide health benefits as well by helping us stay physically and mentally active, helping us meet new people and find new friends and can even help reduce stress levels.
There are many tasks performed by volunteers such as:
- Meals on Wheels™ drivers
- Transportation drivers
- Kitchen aides
- Meal service
- Fundraising
- ICCOA – United Way Tax Prep Team
- MMAP Volunteer Team
Please call to learn more or to volunteer your time – contact us at (616) 527-5365 or (888) 527-5365 or by email at iccoa@ioniacounty.org.
