Order a Birth Certificate Online
Birth certificates will be on file in the county/state where the individual was born
- Birth records 110 years or older can be issued to any applicant, unless the record is sealed
- Birth records can be issued to the following:
- to the individual who is the subject of the record
- to a parent named on the record
- to an heir
- to a legal guardian upon proof of court order
- a court order
No I.D. For Birth Certificate
1. Provide ONE (1) Of These
- Passport (with Photo and Signature)
- Military I.D. (with Photo and Signature)
- Employment I.D. (must have photo with a current paystub)
- Student I.D. (must have Photo with a report card or school enrollment)
- Department of Correction I.D. (Include probation papers, discharge papers; or proof of incarceration)
If you can not provide any of the document’s listed, your parent(s) can get your birth certificate.
2. Provide THREE (3) Of These
- Social Security Card (MUST be signed)
- Marriage License
- Divorce Decree
- IRS W-2
- Your child’s birth certificate
- A paycheck stub
- Bank Statement
- Voter Registration
- Motor Vehicle Registration
- Health Insurance Card
- Utility Bill (gas/water/electric)
- Doctor/Hospital/Dentist Bill
Fees
Certified copies of a birth record are $20 for the first copy and $10 for each additional copy of the same record at the same time.
